Lessons Learned this weekend
1-Moonshine for brunch sounds like a good idea at 11am. But when 7pm rolls around you rethink that
2-Fried bologna sandwiches are the BEST bar food. Adding a moon pie to the meal makes it even better
3-When Griff gives you a suggestion, follow it. Didn't disappoint
4-Boots are not made for walking all over Nashville two days straight.
5-No one likes a counter, but if you don't it's harder to remember how many shots you did
6-Holy hell Nashville got crazier in two years... Lines suck at some places (ole red, tootsies, dierks) but I still wanna see an Iowa Bowl game paint that town black and gold.
7-But sometimes lines lead to good things, like ribs
8-Nashville bachelorette parties start at 9am. Almost like tailgating. And they are everywhere
9-WHY ARE PARENTS TAKING LIL KIDS DOWN TO BROADWAY.
10. When your spouse is having a 65th birthday you wear sparkly handle bar head bands
11. Meeting and talking and drinking with random strangers is good time, specially if one of them has actually heard of and been to GARWIN.

Bray at State
Brayden's robotics crew competes at State today. It's all virtual, and unfortunately Nationals and worlds are canceled due to covid.
But this is really cool to see a sign up for him and the rest of his teammates.

Shang Chi - First Teaser Trailer
Going to admit right off the top that I don't know much about Shang-Chi, the Mandarin was in Iron Man 3, well kind of. I wish they could have built him up bigger over 3 movies of Iron Man and had that real tie in there, but this looks really good.

Easter 2021
With mom out or town Dad came down to have Easter Lunch here with the kids and I. Was a decent day, and I even got to sneak in a little nap. Kids had a good time too
The Spread. Had Bourbon Glaze on the ham.

2021 MLB Predictions
The season starts today and I think for the first time in a while I won't be picking the Cubs to win the NL Central. It was a fun wild run from 2015-2020 and I hope I'm wrong and they surprise me.
Here are my picks for 2021.
I feel the baseball world is ready for someone other than the Dodgers to win the West but think they do it, again. But repeating is hard to do, and well winning the series just once is, ask the Cubs. The Padres are loaded and added pitching this offseason. I feel they get it done.
