Garwin Rankings

Ok, need to get the blog going a bit.  Been busy with stuff going on in life.  It happens.  So any readers if you’ve missed me I’m going to try to get things back going.

The BCS computers tabulated their poll and spit out Alabama and Florida at 1-2.  BUT neither are sitting at #1 in the Garwin Rankings.  The first release of the 2012 Garwin Rankings.

Oregon State takes the top spot by .21 points over the Tide and the Gators are right behind.  Rutgers sneaks up there too in the top 5 along with K-State.

As for conference’s overall strength, the Big XII tops everyone else by a sizeable margin.  Kansas is the lowest ranked Big XII team at 108, but then there is a gap to the next lowest at Oklahoma State and Baylor at 54 & 55 respectively.  The Big Ten, ripped by the media and everyone else comes in 3rd.
